Does cripple apply a reduction to alacrity? The help file mentioned only dodge/parry - it makes sense that alacrity would also be negatively affected by it. Perhaps more so?

Alacrity was left out when these changes were made. This was done on purpose. The reason was that we wanted the ravens alacrity to remain just as viable as it was before the change to cripple.

So in doing so, you made ravens !stab and for the most part !archery? Ravens have dodge AND alacrity - the cripple applies to their dodge, but NOT their alacrity? I fail to see the reasoning behind this.

I guess it's cuz alacrity is one of the defining skills for ravens, and so it would be kinda silly that alacrity could be neutralized by a regular skill like cripple. ALthough I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of cripple SLIGHTLY diminishing alacrity's effectiveness. I have no idea how the algorithms actually work, but if say cripple makes dodge 50% less effective, I think it would be ok for cripple to make alacrity like 20% less effective or something, a change that would be minor but not a zero-effect.

I think alacrity is actually pretty weak at present. Even at 200 p-fire ravens are pretty susceptible to both stab and archery now (and have always been charge bait). It's a pretty far cry from when no-element racial alacrity literally made you impervious to both stab and archery. I personally think you're better off investing in the p-air for dodge.

I would agree with Valkor as far as alacrity now vs. pre-weaves. With my original Raven, charge was the only thing that landed (as was the intent for ravens). With a current raven, I could hardly ever avoid stabs with moderate elements in pfire.

I would also disagree with making a common skill like cripple to impair alacrity since it is, as mentioned above, a defining skill for this subrace.

Well i will say alacrity totally demolished my archery by 1/3 or more. So I dont see a problem with it atm.
