Okay I was wondering about something recently because I started using sandstorm a lot. I know if you gust of wind/sandstorm, the room is affected by the spell for a few ticks. There is a message when the room is normal again. You can also wear some ffall and try to walk into the room, or recast gust of wind/sandstorm to see if it is still gusted. Any of those methods can be used to determine if the room is still under that effect.
But I want an easier way. Would it be possible to code the weather command or some other easy command to be able to check without wasting mana, moving rooms, or being forced to NOT move rooms.
for example:
I type weather, and get a return of something like this: The winds are howling like crazy! ... assuming the room is gusted.
K Thanks
edit: or is there something like this already and I just don't know about it? |

Makes sense, should be easy to tell if a room is gusted/sandstormed/wall of fire/ice'd/etc. There's already something like this in the game when you enter such a room with a lord account, so its trivial to add this for players as well. _________________ Kim the serving wenchs deadly finger has caused Soriss to die of a heart attack! |
