If you have a useful tool that others may enjoy and is related to the Age of Chaos game please contact us on our AOC Wheel of Time Forum or in the game.Version 1.91 AOC Windows Client - Written by Andur -New in Aoc Client version 1.9.1: -Added in trigger groups -#activateTriggerGroup and #deactivateTriggerGroup commands added -Added in a trigger debugger -Client commands are now case insensitive -Add in %lastcom in triggers to get the last inputted command -Added in #log command to add something to the log window -Added in better trigger error messages -Added in $1, $2, $n to capture groups of words in triggers -Made the trigger parser a little more forgiving on syntax -Changed the character generator for the new creation rules Version 1.80: -Added in a connection timer -Added in the option to suppress the automatic status polling -Triggers with a blank trigger phrase no longer cause infinite loops and possible trigger file corruption. Version 1.70: Added in the following requested features: -#alias, #global alias, #unalias commands for setting up AocClient aliases directly and via triggers -The open/close status of the various windows are now saved across sessions -Added in %all in triggers to get the line that triggered the trigger -Added in substitutions Version 1.60: Upgraded client to include new character creation system plus some minor fixes and tweaked. Highly recommended upgrade. Version 1.51: The Age of Chaos Client MUD program has the following feature updates: -Added the #command command, to force the client to interpret a line in a trigger as a command, also lets you store commands in variables and execute them with this. See the documentation for an example. -When hiding, the client will no longer automatically poll the mud for status updates -The status line display at the bottom of the client will now work with custom display options -Added in an option to update the group window much more frequency when you have it open. -The variables window will update in real time now. Version 1.4: The AocClient changes are mostly just the addition of some import/export options for aliases and triggers so people can shuffle them between alts, or share them with other players. Version 1.3: Changes include the following: -The multi-line command symbol has been changed to a customizeable option, instead of being fixed as the | symbol. -The left/right arrow keys no longer send in east and west twice to the mud. -Changed the behavior of aliases with %1, %2, etc in their command string to always work now. -Fixed the no last name bug in the character generator, it will no longer hang when generating such characters. -Triggers can now trigger multiple times on the same packet. -The * symbol is now escapable, so inputting in ** will input an actual * character in your command. So to say "*foo*" in the game, the command typed in would be "say **foo**" -Fixed the various scrolling problems with the client. And probably a few other misc changes that I've forgotten about by now. Updated March 7, 2006 - A Windows program to play the AOC game with. Look for this version to soon support Isometric graphics! The client now requires version 2.0 of the .net framework instead of 1.1 as the previous version did. The download link is: 2.0 .net framework As for things that have changed this version over version 1.0, its mainly been a set of interface improvements. The flickering interface bug has been resolved. The switching focus issues are gone. The default settings should be a bit more sane now. And the interface is a little nicer now. The highlights of this release include the following: -The much requested color customization. -An updated telnet implementation that will now work with 64 bit versions of Xp and Vista -Some small interface tweaks and improvements -Ansi-color codes that are only partially received no longer display incorrectly Element Spread Program V1.33.2 - Written by Shalice - It's a working spread creator that takes out a lot of the dummy work such as figuring out what class gets how many points, what race gets points and where and how all of that is affected by multi. Zone Builder V1.1 for Age of Chaos - Written by Andur - A Windows program for building zones and doing mobprogs Version 1.1 release May 16th 2007 adds/fixes: -One sided locked doors -Color coded room nodes -Auto backup -Couple of gui bugs fixed -Key rings -Updated skill/spell lists -Relics Version 1.0: The Zone Builder on the other hand, has been completely rewritten from the bottom up. As such, this release is still kind of experimental, but, I've been working with it for a little while and haven't encountered any troubles with it, so it should be stable enough for general use. All of the old limitations that were in the Zone Builder are gone, so things like multi-vnum zones are now supported. The interface is considerably nicer now, letting you view/modify as many things at once as you want know, instead of one thing at a time as before. The mob prog wizard is significantly improved and hopefully will generate mob progs more to Azakhet's liking... (hopefully no more, "this is kinda weird Andur" comments) The main change that may cause some difficulties, is that I've switched to just using the native mud file formats for the Zone Builder. This does break direct compatibility with the old version, however, people can just export their zone from the old version into the AoC format and then load that into the new version without any problems (though there may be a few oddities, as there were some minor obscure bugs in the old version's output. The map layout will be lost, but, I have an auto-map generator algorithm for when that information isn't present). On the plus side, this also lets people load in any existing AoC zone they may have (I wouldn't recommend loading in any of the existing mud zones that have undocumented features present in them), or if they want to, do a combination of editting inside of the Zone Builder and outside of it. This effectively deprecates the old Zone Builder. Element Distribution Excel Spreadsheet - Written by Suddreth - An excel spreadsheet to do elements. You fill in the points for levels 1, t60, and mt90 and it will automatically calculate the defense elements for you. It will also show you what you spread will be at level mt61 provided you have levels 1 and t60 filled in. I also made it to where you fill in the points received per level and it will give you the total points to spend for levels 1-t60 and levels mt61-mt90.
