Atha'an Miere

The Atha'an Miere, or more commonly the people of the sea, live most of their lives on the sea and dislike going any great distance from the ocean. Relatively little is known of their customs, giving rise to an air of exotic mystery and often to fanciful tales. Most trade in the world is carried by seafolk ships, which include the fastest by far and most of the largest, and they are considered by the inhabitants of port cities to be bargainers who outstrip the more widely known Domani. As survival at sea often depends on instant obedience, it is no surprise that the Atha'an Miere stick strictly to their hierarchy. The Mistress of the Ships has a level of authority any shorebound king or queen would envy, yet she is also elected, for life, by the council of senior Wavemistresses. The position of Master of the Blades is held by a man who may or may not be the husband of the Mistress of The Ships. His responsibilities are the defense and the trade of the Sea Folk.

Restrictions: Requirements for the Atha'an Miere are as follows: No Evil aligned characters are allowed, Females with at least one casting or halfcasting class may apply, Males with at least one fighting, or half casting class may apply. All Ogier are allowed to apply regardless of class. It is recommended that only transed and multied players apply, but It is within the Mistress of The Ship's power to allow a lower level player to join. To Become Atha'an Miere one must pass a rigorous test of their abilities to prove their worth.

Banner: A cresting blue ocean wave meeting a cloud before the horizon of dawn.

Enemies: Any and all who deign to follow the path of Evil.
